I clicked on your website from your article on Kevinmd.com. I thought it was really important, and I’m glad to hear your voice. Of course, as a woman (actually probably a couple of generations older than you — my guess) I know exactly what you’re talking about. We need more awareness of our female “training” that muzzles us when men pontificate.
I also read the post on your horrendous “wellness” experience. Yikes!
As a mental health professional (clinical social worker, private practice, 27 years), I’m shocked to hear such total narcissistic blather from the “counselor.” And yet, I’m not. That’s the sort of person who gives the rest of us a bad name.
I’m glad you spoke up. (I guess you do — that’s the name of your blog, right?) Keep it up!
